The HP Slimeline Desktop Full ReviewI'm a guy; so really, this saying applies to very few things in my life. There's women's clothing, sports cars and technology. HP's Pavilion Slimline s3400t Desktop, makes the cut. These PC's are small, and they'd almost have been discreet, if they weren't so sexy. I'm not sure if that's
?a bad thing. I could tell you how good these s3400t's are but that's part of their beauty. They were made to be customizable. I wish they were fully customizable, but some upgrades were building to fit the small frame of this petite PC. Can't have everything I suppose.Units start at 2.2GHz Dual core, but you can strap on any Core 2 Duo, if you're carving a bit of speed. It's terrible that I feel like laughing at what I just said. Anyway, the 2 gigabytes can be stretched to 4 and that'll about take care of all your RAM needs. You'll be able to play a fair number of today's popular titles with this computer, but it's not exactly a gaming PC so you might not want to invest too much in the newer graphic intensive games. The basic model comes with Nvidia GeForce 7100 integrated graphics and if the (near) future classics you intend to play need more, there's enough space in that tiny box for a respectable 256MB 8500GT if you want it. With this model, you can get a combo-drive with LightScribe CD labeling, and if your little friend is going to the living room, you might also consider a drive capable of Blu-ray HD. The 15-in-1 multimedia card reader will probably catch most of your transfer compatibility needs with two front panel USB ports for everything else.HP Pavilion Slimline S3400t Desktop Review
