Best of the Blackberry Curve 8900 keyboard is great, the display is amazing and never lets you see detail and finally the BlackBerry experience on this team is formidable.
The worst thing about the Blackberry Curve 8900 not having 3G is annoying when you used to play with a Bold, access to the memory card is annoying and, ultimately, could have given a better ending .. but this is totally subjective!
Design
Compared with all models of BlackBerry that vi is the best design (perhaps excluding the Storm). Is a design much like the Nokia E71, and pretty much no doubt that the Curve prior, much finer lines have a more compact design ... the Bold ... and without doubt a more "usable" than the Flip and the Pearl.
What I was not convinced that it is "cheap" on the back. The battery is too plastic, could be a little more care to detail that is so "fine" as we face ... something that in the E71 and the Bold is wonderful.
Size screen and keyboard
For me the ideal size is the inside ... the choices QUERTY keyboard I think is the minimum possible size without losing the usability of the corporate team.
The keyboard is just and necessary to answer mails with comfort, and the screen is just as fair and necessary to comfortably read emails and browse sites when necessary.
Obviously, the screen size is not the ideal device to surf the Internet if you're used to something bigger but come on, it is comfortable enough to do when you have to do so if permission to do so in a Pearl and other Smartphones; )
Connectivity and social element
After being a user of a computer with 3G and wi-fi connectivity actually ... wi-fi makes the difference and it shows. When you get used to 3G speeds, but the network is of poor quality and coverage, go to a team with EDGE notice and then turning on wi-fi makes some of the activities you usually do with the team are much more comfortable.
In the hours of use Twitterberry, or download a new application, Latitude or use Google or Facebook for BlackBerry, etc ... the wi-fi makes a terrible difference, and experience it on a computer without wi-fi or 3G might be a torture, this team is very natural, and usable ... sumemosle two details that come from "factory" Facebook and Flickr with shortcuts which is coupled to the multimedia experience, and the team starts to have to convince a market young professionals but with corporate life;)
Camera and Multimedia in the Blackberry Curve 8900
If the ability to reproduce music with sound quality surprised us since the launch of the Pearl, the camera of this model is the best thing that has Blackberry away and ... what I call the attention of the camera is the flash. Is obviously not a camera, but it is a perfect camera for taking pictures in "social events" in which what matters is to portray the moment.
The fact that flash is so good makes it very suitable for a camera to take pictures inside, like a restaurant, a party, etc ...
Interface
The interface is the same as that of new equipment for Blackberry, and then using a Pearl 8100 or Curve 8300 is infinitely superior. While functionality is a great step forward, aesthetics are very meticulous.
Completion of the Blackberry Curve 8900
To put it simply, if they get Blackberry operators have a consistent price, will be one of the best opportunities. Do not have 3G? Pity the rest but the truth of the advantages and the great opportunity to buy the packet data and push mail included remains an advantage over the rest of the market ... it is sincerely a tough competitor for the Nokia E71 which, by specification, be closer to the Blackberry Bold this but the size, keyboard and camera .. very close and it ends up being an excellent opportunity for cost-effectiveness.
